Welcome to Lock & Rep -- the app that helps you build discipline by linking physical exercises to physical effort. These "Terms & Conditions" ("Terms") explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. Who We Are
Lock & Rep is a mobile app designed to help users reduce screen time and build better habits by requiring physical reps before unlocking selected apps.
2. Using the App
You may use Lock & Rep for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't misuse our services by trying to interfere with them or copy, modify, or re-engineer any part of it. We may update or change features without prior notice.
3. Physical Activity Disclaimer
Lock & Rep encourages physical exercise as part of its core functionality. By using the app, you agree that:
- You are physically able to complete basic exercises.
- You'll only use the app in a safe environment.
- You are fully responsible for your health and safety.
We are not liable for any injury, accident, or harm caused by using Lock & Rep. You use it entirely at your own risk.
4. Your Account & Data
To use some features, you'll need to create an account. We collect only the essentials:
- Your email address (for login)
- A username (for social features like leaderboards)
We do not sell your data. For details, check out our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Lock & Rep offers:
- A free version with core features
- A Pro version with weekly, monthly, or annual subscriptions
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store and auto-renew unless cancelled. No refunds are offered for partial use, unused time, or accidental purchases.
6. Third-Party Services
Lock & Rep uses key third-party services:
- Apple Health -- for rep tracking and workout data
- Supabase -- for authentication and data storage
By using the app, you also agree to the terms of these services.
7. Right to Refuse
You can stop using Lock & Rep at any time. We may also suspend or terminate your access if we believe you're violating these Terms.
8. Legal Stuff
These Terms are governed by UK law. If there's a dispute, it'll be handled under UK jurisdiction.
9. Updates to These Terms
We might update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll let you know in the app or via email. Keep using the app and you're agreeing to the latest version.
